It was amazing. I love how the Joestars didn't care that one of their own managed to produce a kid by completely implausible means. (Joseph was downright thrilled that he lived long enough to see a great-grandson; Josuke thought it was "GREAT!" that Jouta's mom wasn't typical... "mom" material. xDDD)

Their son--Jouta--is rather ballsy. >/ He acts exactly like his daddy, but he seems to hate him. Oh, and for the record, HIS STAND IS THE GAYEST-LOOKING THING EVER. DDDx

...Oh, I don't know, managing various affairs of the twelfth-grade kind and figuratively wrestling with the otherwise frustrating college admissions process?

To make a long story short, I was admitted to SUNY Albany's Honors College, and, being the opportunist that I am, I graciously accepted the ("Presidential") scholarship proffered therein and agreed to move upstate one week from Friday.

Classes start on the 25th.

The good news? The University at Albany is the only SUNY to offer Japanese Studies as a major; score one for the Japanophile in me. x3

The bad news? The student populace is overwhelmingly suburbanite--easily on par with Surprise Lake's campers and staff, maybe moreso. Our mascot sucks, too: it's a great dane--A GREAT DANE. Scooby-freakin'-Doo, for goodness' sake! There's nothing intimidating about that!

What else... ah! According to my dormmate-to-be's Facebook page, she and I have nothing in common. No--scratch that, she's the kind of person I fear: someone who parties and drinks.

"Wait, Inari, aren't you in the Honors College? Shouldn't it be full of geeks and nerds and other sun-fearing people much like yourself?" Yeah, that's what I thought, too. D: It wouldn't be the first time I let generalizations get the best of my ability to judge.

So... she's your typical suburban girl. Okay, I know I'm kind of jumping the gun here, but I've always had such bad experiences with people like her (this is why I hate Facebook--always giving me the wrong impressions); it's my way of mentally preparing myself for the worst. =/

Anyway, on a more positive note, I scored a "5" on my AP Art History exam. :DDD I guess all those periods spent taking notes and staying alert (ie: not sleeping) paid off, huh?

On another note, Deidara-chan and Sakura-chan were thinking about getting their PS2s modded; I need to talk to them about that. I bet they forgot, what with college applications to complete and all...

If I got my PS2 modded, I'd purchase Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix + first, no questions asked.

The 24th was Tony Tony Chopper's birthday. Sorry I didn't mention it then; I was busy.

Indeed! It started off as something I was writing for Creative Writing Honors; somehow, it turned into a "preview excerpt" for Resolute (you know... that accursed LucciKaku fic I was planning to start over the summer?). I have no idea how it happened--it just did. =/

Today was my birthday. And it was freakin' awesome.

Seriously, though--between the doujinshi, the cookies, and the insistent cries of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" and spontaneous breaks into song (courtesy of Sai-chan and Tsunade-chan xD), today kicked ass.

I just finished unlocking all the characters in Bleach: Wii Hakujin Kirameku Rondo.

One of those characters was Aizen. Something occurred to me when I tried him out for the first time:

Aizen's Zanpakutou is called Kyouka Suigetsu. Kyouka Suigetsu.

...Does that mean whore-for-Sasuke Suigetsu is an expert at genjutsu? =/ Nonetheless, it does explain why Aizen doesn't/can't draw Kyouka Suigetsu from its sheath. (Suigetsu loves getting nekkie for Sasuke, after all. xDDD)

Sasuke: And you are?
Aizen: Aizen Sousuke.
Kyouka Suigetsu: *Ejects itself from its sheath, lodges itself in the ground in front of Sasuke*
Aizen: Hn? Kyouka Suigetsu! What are you doing--get back in your sheath this instant!

I've unlocked a ton of characters in Bleach: Wii Hakujin Kirameku Rondo. Only three more to go (Aizen, Ulquiorra, and Grimmjow).

Guess what? Turns out Shuuhei is playable, too - and boy, does he kick ass. >D Imagine my surprise when I spotted him in the FAQs.

When I faced him and played as him, I noticed a couple of things:

1. Renji and Izuru call him "Hisagi-sempai" when addressing him before a battle. O_O Does this mean Shuuhei isn't a total uke like the fanbase seems to believe? Is he really the most seme fukutaichou they've got? And since when was he their superior? (Rhetorical question; since he topped them, obviously. xD)

2. When I faced Komamura, Shuuhei said the following:

"Komamura-taichou - ore wa... ore wa...!"

I couldn't really catch what Komamura said. Whatever it was, it didn't sound particularly angry or threatening. (Unlike what Matsumoto says to Izuru...)

Still, it supports my darkest fear - that Tousen is involved in his own love triangle - much like Gin. D:

...Except... well, it's between a blind black man, a tattooed punk, and a fox anthro. >.<;; That's three tickets to hell in a single handbasket, people. (That was terrible. I deserve to be taken out back and shot for that.)

3. He fights a lot like Xianghua. ._.

On a separate note, Lucci's cross-dressing crack twin, Marco, is made of many different kinds of win. Especially when one of said wins consists of hitting on Jyabura. xDDDDD

Started on my college essay today. I decided to write about AnimeNEXT. I've only mentioned blankoo and alchemistofwind so far. >.>;;

Today is Yamanaka Ino's birthday. Yesterday was Nara Shikamaru's, Kotetsu Kiyone's, and Kotsubaki Sentarou's. Wednesday was Ayasegawa Yumichika's. Next Saturday is Matsumoto Rangiku's.
